Banyandah alpacas was established in NSW in 1994,
moving to Traveston in the Noosa Hinterland in 1999 and thence to
Gympie in 2006. The breeding stock and stud males are carefully
selected to bring good quality and different genetics to Queensland.
Banyandah breeds show winning quality suris and huacayas in a wide
range of fleece colours

Dawn is a qualified wool classer, was awarded first in class for the
inaugural Alpaca Production course offered by NSW TAFE and holds a
TAFE Certificate in Organic Farming. She has a background in Science
at graduate and post graduate levels
